Walailak University – On Friday, February 13, 2026, the Acting Head of the Internal Audit Unit, together with the Acting Head of Operational Audit, attended the “Sparking Research Writing and Planning (Kick-off & Inspiration)” activity held at Walailak University Hospital. The event aimed to enhance capabilities and inspire staff to develop Routine to Research (R2R) work.
The session featured distinguished national expert speakers who shared their experience and insights, including Professor Dr. Sumon Chaiyapruek from Prince of Songkla University and Professor Dr. Panita Wannapisu from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. The training focused on strategic planning, setting conceptual frameworks, and techniques for writing effective research proposals designed to address organizational development needs.
The participation of Internal Audit personnel serves as a key driver in promoting workflow development through the Routine to Research (R2R) process. This initiative will help elevate internal audit standards and apply gained knowledge to optimize unit planning toward excellence, aligning with the university’s future strategic goals.
