Walailak University – On May 26, 2026, the Internal Audit Unit at Walailak University organized a practical workshop project to elevate operational standards in finance and procurement. The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Suwit Wuthisuthimethavee, Vice President for Strategic Planning and Governance, at the Phatthradharmarond Meeting Room, Walailak University Hospital.
The key objective of this project was to build knowledge, understanding, and alignment on procurement practices and disbursement procedures to ensure systematic accuracy university-wide. The event was held with the cooperation of the Finance and Accounting Division and the Procurement Division, which provided expert speakers to share essential knowledge, rules, regulations, and best practices. Over 130 relevant operational staff members from 46 internal units across the university attended the training.
Project Outcomes: Evaluation summaries showed that all target goals were successfully achieved, with participants expressing a high satisfaction rate of 94.60%. Furthermore, post-test evaluation results reflected a significant increase in participant understanding of the relevant rules and principles. This will help minimize errors and support the university’s financial and procurement operations in running with maximum accuracy, transparency, and efficiency under good governance principles.
