From August 28–29, 2026, personnel from the Internal Audit Unit of Walailak University traveled to attend an academic conference hosted by the Policy, Planning, and Organizational Quality Management Development Network and the Internal Audit System Development Network. The event took place at The Bed Vacation Rajamangala Hotel in Songkhla Province.

The objective of participating in this academic conference was to elevate knowledge, enhance practical working skills, and exchange best practices with support staff and internal auditors from various higher education institutions. The event focused on modernizing internal audit systems, risk management, internal control, and organizational quality assurance in alignment with good governance principles.

Additionally, the conference served as a vital opportunity to build and strengthen network relationships between higher education institutions. The insights, feedback, and guidelines gained from the event will be applied to enhance the operational systems of Walailak University’s Internal Audit Unit—ensuring transparency, efficiency, and sustainable support for the university’s overall mission.
