Walailak University – On the morning of Friday, March 27, 2026, Mrs. Chattrathai Suwanmalai, Acting Head of the Internal Audit Unit, led all unit personnel to participate in the activities celebrating the 34th Founding Anniversary of Walailak University (which falls on March 29 of every year) at the parking area and the Main Auditorium, Thaiburi Building, to express congratulations and be part of this significant university occasion.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth and solidarity as the Internal Audit Unit personnel participated in various morning activities alongside executives and staff from across the university, including key events such as:
Buddhist Prayer and Alms-Giving Ceremony: Joined in making merit by offering dry food alms to 34 Buddhist monks.
Interfaith Ceremony: Attended ceremonies representing Buddhism, Islam, and Christianity to promote auspiciousness and organizational harmony.
Special Keynote Speech: Listened to the keynote address titled “9 Years of Transformation at Walailak University” by Professor Dr. Sombat Thamronthanyawong, President of Walailak University, highlighting the institution’s leapfrog development and progress.
Honoring University Personnel: Offered congratulations to royal insignia recipients, honorees receiving gold rings and commemorative recognition for 25 and 30 years of continuous service, as well as distinguished alumni award recipients.
Participating in this event was not only a celebration of Walailak University’s 34th anniversary, but also an excellent opportunity to foster strong inter-departmental relationships and demonstrate the Internal Audit Unit’s commitment to driving the university forward toward stable and sustainable progress.
