On August 10–11, 2026, the Walailak University Audit Committee, led by Mr. Paetai Bunsung, Chairman of the Audit Committee, along with committee members, conducted an operational field visit at Walailak University and network partner organizations in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
During this visit, the Audit Committee met and held discussions with Walailak University executives to exchange perspectives and help define guidelines for university administration, internal control, and good governance oversight. Additionally, the committee met with executives and officials from the State Audit Office of Nakhon Si Thammarat (SAO Nakhon Si Thammarat) to discuss official matters, coordinate cooperation, and exchange feedback on auditing and budget management to ensure maximum efficiency and transparency.
On the same occasion, the committee inspected the progress and services of the Walailak University Hospital and visited the Sirindhorn Museum of Natural History, Walailak University (SIRIN MUSEUM)—a key natural history learning hub in the Southern region—to receive operational reports and offer recommendations for elevating services to international standards. Furthermore, the committee visited and exchanged views with the Student Development Center to collaborate on guidelines for welfare, quality-of-life enhancement, and holistic, sustainable student development.
